Q1: Who can obtain WHSAA license plates?
A: Any Western High School graduate can obtain the WHSAA organization license plates. The WHSAA, Inc. Executive Board would prefer that all license plate holders be members of WHSAA, Inc. Membership is $21.00 per fiscal year- July 1-June 30).

Q2: How much do the WHSAA license plates cost?
A: $25.00 check or money order made payable to the MVA. The payment includes the front and rear license plates, new month and year stickers (same dates that you currently have), and a new registration card.
Q3: How do I obtain the organizational license plate application?
A: To obtain the duplicate copy organizational license plate application, please e-mail your mailing address and telephone number to advisory.ayers@whsaainc.org. The application will be mailed to you with follow-up instructions.
Q4: Can I request a specific license plate number?
A: No. The license plates are released in numerical order from the MVA.
Q5: Is there a handicap version of the WHSAA license plates?
A: No. You would have to obtain the handicap window placard.
Q6: Are the WHSAA license plates available in other states?
A: No. The WHSAA, Inc. license plates are only available in Maryland at this time.
Q7: What do I do with my WHSAA license plates if I get a new vehicle?
A: KEEP your WHSAA license plates! You can inform your salesperson or dealership staff that you want to retain your current organization plates.
